I want to publicly thank Mike who e-mailed me with fantastic detailed data, comparing same diameter (OD and ID) and same length weight of a number of material. I also received photos. Just fantastic. Thanks a million for taking what I am sure is quite a bit of time to equalize all the grip physical measurements before weighing, and including detail of the type of glue used etc.
THANK YOU! And thanks to all who posted. I now have a better idea. It does look like Cork is among the lighter material though one can get lighter with some type of foam. This does not account for difference in sensitivity. Re: Lightest 5" Tennessee Handle.

Mo, maybe two, one inch long pieces of urethane foam or eva attached about 2" apart so that you can tape on your spin(i guess it,s spinning you use) reel..for a little comfort you can wear a golf glove with index finger removed on the reel hand..now Mo quit laughing..lol. i,m trying to be helpful..
