Hey folks,
I’ve been making custom cork handles for some time now. I love the looks of these and how it really adds to the custom look of the rods I build. I just started integrating EVA into some of my handles and have noticed that the EVA seems to stain (for lack of a better word) easily and dull a lot of the colors down. I’ve tried water and soft brushes...etc but nothing seems to clean it up very well. How do you guys/gals handle this? Thanks! Hello,
I have recently started turning EVA grips too. When I am done I use Dawn dish soap and a green scrub pad (the sponge with green scrubby) to clean the completed grips. The high density foam does not soak up much if any water and the scrub pad works well to clean the grips. I would post a picture but I can't figure out how to yet... Later! David Edited 1 time(s). warm water, Dawn soap , scrubber , do a couple of times , it will clean up , but it is a pain in the butt , no matter how you do it , [ PS I use a old tooth brush ] William Sidney AK Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
