Does anyone have any idea if there is a GPS for KR Concept builds for bait cast rods (Inshore). Im wanting to start the stripper guide with the RV (6mm) down to a KT runner #5, but was looking for guide placements. If anyone has any information and willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it. Re: GPS for Bait cast KR Concept build

There is no GPS for casting rods. Casting rods are pretty simple to layout. If you are using a low profile casting reel place the RV6 about 20” (or about 50 cm) in front of the reel. I will place the first runner about 9 to 11 cm from the tip top, and then progressively place the remaining guides between them. I gradually Increase the distance between the first several guides by about a centimeter or so, and then gradually increase the distance slightly more until I reach the stripper. I normally use at least 3 KB guides after the stripper with the remaining runners being KTs. For a seven foot casting rod I normally use 9 to 10 guides total, not counting the tip top. After taping the guides in place, do a two line static test to fine tune the guide positions so they follow the curve of the rod. When happy with the alignment, test cast. Pretty easy to do and works great. If you want to do a spiral wrap just use the same spacing, and you can usually use fewer guides, if you want.
