Dolphin/Sailfish Rod Guide Train?

I'm building a lite trolling / kite rod for sailfish, dolphin, and kings. It's a SW70M-MHX that will have a 10" butt, 12" fore grip fishing 20lb mono top shot with hollow core backing, or just all mono. The reel will be a Daiwa Saltist 40 or equivalent in size. The baits will primarily be naked ballyhoo trolling, or what ever live bait from a kite. I'm trying to come up with a guide train of turbo guides and since this is my first trolling rod I'm in new territory. Really not sure where to start with the guides. Any and all input would be greatlt appreciated.

Don't go larger than necessary but make sure to go large enough to clear any knots or connections that will have to wound through the guides. Beyond that, don't overthink it - use a large enough butt guide (height, really) so that under full load the line will not get down onto the foregrip.

I’d suggest Fuji MN guides over the turbos. They are lower profile, and will make the final product feel lighter in hand. I’d start with a 20 and end with10s.

On a side note, I just took advantage of the recent get bit outdoors sale and picked up a couple sets of titanium alps XN guides to try out. They would be a nice match up for that blank as well.

Thanks, that's what I ended up ordering was the Alps Xn from size 20-10. It seemed like the right fit, now the waiting game.

Would the Alps guides be good for a jigging rod in the 300-400 range? Reels are Talica 20ii
