Put Your Things Away

Quick story.

I was out working in my yard on Saturday and came across a "snakeskin" that had been shed by its previous owner. It was a small snake and thought to myself, "this might be an interesting experiment with one of my smaller diameter inshore rods". I ever so carefully carried it inside the house and put it in my rod wrapping room, right on top of my table on the machine, so I wouldn't lose it. Sunday and Monday came and went before I remembered I had it in my rod room, and I went in to see if I could slip it over one of my rods. Magically, it disappeared! I looked for that thing everywhere. I even looked for it in places I KNEW I didn't put it! So I mentioned to my girlfriend that I couldn't find that darn thing.

Unbeknownst to me, and because my girlfriend STEALS my Acetone from my rod room to clean the paint off her nails, she mentioned she saw it, thought we had a snake in the house or, that our dog brought one into the house, and vacuumed it up with the Dyson!

Girls, UGH!!!!

I should have put it in one of my many plastic boxes for safe keeping. Lesson learned!

That is pretty funny. At least she did it on her own. My wife would have had a hissie fit and had me get rid of it.
