3 layer tiger wrap

Has anyone tried doing a 3 layer tiger wrap? (base layer, middle layer, top layer) I am thinking of trying it but thought I would ask to see if I was just wasting my time. I have had good success with the standard 2 layers and thought a 3rd layer might add something or it could be just too much and wreck the whole effect.

Hello Michael.

The guy who did the most tinkering with tigers is Doc. Ski.

Tight Wraps & Tighter Lines.

I looked without success for "tiger wrap" in this site's glossary. What is a tiger wrap, and what is its function?

Look in the glossary again under "Throop 3D Tiger Wrap."

I can tell you that with my test wrap it does not look like it works.

Offhand, I wouldn't think it would work. I'd think the third layer would only detract from the tiger. Some colors, (lighter colors, metallics, neons) might work in unique ways.
