Aero Seat Question

I just dry fitted the G2 handle and CCT aero seat, size 16 to a rod I'm building. In going with the ULH locking hood, how are y'all filling that front gap in the fore grip sleeve? I figure I can just glue a piece of eva foam in there but I just wondered if anyone has any special ways of doing it. I have been researching ideas and haven't found much. I guess just reaming it enough so it spins freely when locking down the reel? I like down locking btw. Is there a way to do carbon fiber inserts in the front of that hood? Gracias!

Robert

Good afternoon Robert...

The CFG is modeled after many JDM and cage style hoods on the market today...

Fit a winding check in the seat or better yet us the Long Winding Check that we make to finish it off.
