I'm organizing for a pair of 4wts on some CTS blanks in FERN GREEN and am looking over thread options. I did a Sage blank years ago using Gudebrod 0207 or 001-207 which was black and yellow twist but am not confident that the remnant of the spool will do 2 rods. (the tyranny of 100yd spools). The yellow had the effect of going invisible so the black/white is an option I suppose.

So two questions -

First - does anyone have any old stock Gudebrod or can point me in the right direction? Other than size C/Trimar, I'm not finding any through a google search.

Second - does anyone have an opinion on how the ProWrap tiger thread compares to the old Gudebrod classic Twist? Or prefer another brand?

Can't say how the colors compare. But the prowrap handled no different than the gudebrod twists for me. Actually the only prowrap that I like and will use.
