Total Control Power Wrapping and Finishing

I have always wanted a machine that did it all, wrap, finish, and even cure. I wanted one motor that could do it all. Variable Speed, Reversible, Slip-Clutch, Self-Adjusting Chuck, On/Off Switch and Throttled Foot Control. The new Dual Control Motor is the heart and soul of our latest wrapper/finisher in one, the DC777. This new motor has it all WITHOUT the hassles of belt driven motors and the Slot-Wall mounted Spring Loaded Roller Supports offer a seamless passthrough operation of the Thread Control Board and finishing Steady Rest Tray. MADE IN THE USA.

For wrapping you can set the speed to your comfort level, flip the switch to the foot control and go. The fully adjustable slip clutch along with the adjustable thread tension devices work together to hold the thread tension while wrapping, hands free, all while making it possible to back up and fix any mess-ups, manually rotate or even hand wrap. The change over from starting a wrap to engaging the foot control has never been easier and under more control than with this system. 420 RPMs gives you a great top speed for long butt wraps or under wraps while the mix of the variable speed dial and throttled foot control allows for a slow and in control approach to tricky areas like climbing the guide foot. The new Thread Control Board is larger with familiar Flex Coat components.

When it comes to finishing, switch the motor to ON and you can dial it down to 40-200 RPMs, depending on what rod you are working on, and the slip clutch allows you to stop the rotation manually on a dime while the motor still turns. The included Steady Rest Tray keeps you shake free while finishing and will catch any drips to keep your new machine drip free and looking good.

And, yes, you can turn the speed all the way down and let the rod cure on the machine at 40 RPMs. No Problem.

And I am not done, Roger Seiders always enjoys adding more options and features to everything we make and the DC777 is no exception. So now the motor comes standard with a motor lock so that you can secure your rod straight up or down and use it as a guide alignment tool with our Guide Foot Adhesive. While maintaining a straight line of sight over the rod between your eye, the rod blank and the alignment strip in the base of the machine, you can secure your guides in perfect alignment down the rod prior to wrapping. The Guide Foot Adhesive holds strong but can be tweaked later even after wrapping.

The DC777 is about three things; Control, Control and Control.
