What is the recommendation for a 9 foot, 6 weight fly rod stripping guide? I will be using an American Tackle Delta Snagless guide with a Naolite insert. The guide chart on the mudhole page gives heights for A And C for the different ring sizes. The link for this guide is - [www.mudhole.com]
I don't have a reel picked out yet, but will probably use narrow, large arbor reel for a 6 weight rod. An example would be - TFO TEMPLE FORK OUTFITTERS NXT LA 1 PRE-SPOOLED FLY REEL FOR A 6 WEIGHT ROD Any hel[ would be appreciated. A 12 mm is what I use. Re: stripping Gid size for 9 foot 6 weight fly rod

You could also use an ATC MicrWave 18 stripping guide, [www.mudhole.com]
I've used them on a 6 weight and a 10 weight. They sort of look odd on a fly rod but they do work. Re: stripping Gid size for 9 foot 6 weight fly rod

A 9 foot rod will often have two stripping guides -- size 12 and size 10. There is no true standard, and whatever you prefer will likely do just fine. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
