Rear pocket 17 mm Aero reel seat? And hood question

Hello,

I’ve done several searches, and unfortunately have come up with different answers. I know that for the 16mm AMTAK Aero reel seat .920 Texalium tubing is supposed to fit perfectly. My issue is that I can’t find a definite answer for the 17 mm version. Does the .980 tubing fit without gaps? I’ve also seen where 1.05 was claimed to fit the 17mm.. so am unsure what to order.

Lastly, I know the 16mm Fuji hoods can be used on the 16mm Aero seats, does anyone know if 17 mm hoods work on the Aero seat as well?

Thanks,

Craig

The rear of the Aero-17 is 1.10" ... my guess is the 1.05 should fit it fine.

As far as the hood.. not sure why you would want to switch but it should fit okay.

The 17 size Fuji hood does not fit a 17Aero seat. Made that mistake.

The tubing numbers .920" and .980" are IDs, the 1.05" measurement is the grips OD, the same as a standard rear cork grip.
