Gentlemen,
I need a Lamiglass IMP904 Popping rod blank. Tried several vendors on left with no luck. Called Lamiglass and they are down due to Covid. Any help is appreciated. Pat Barnard Re: Blank needed

Check with Herb about CTS blanks to fill your purpose. He's great to work with. Here's a link to their popping/spinning rod blank for salt water - [ctsfishing.com].

All of these Rain Shadow Popping blanks are excellent blanks.
Can you find one of these in the right power and action for your needs? [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com] These are top of the line popping blanks: [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com] Perhaps one of these will work. Re: Blank needed

Roger,
Thanks for the response. I have built on the RS 7’6” popping rod blanks , great blanks. The customer wants a very “limber” rod. The one he is replacing flexes into the mid section easily, a very “whippy” top section. The R S blanks are a bit to stiff for him.. Thanks, Pat Barnard Re: Blank needed

I just built on a CTS Quartz CrystalGlass blank. It behave exactly as what you describe as your customer's desired rod action. Plus, glass blanks are tougher than carbon blanks, if a bit heavier. They aren't as brittle. Contact Herb to see what kind of prices he can get you on CTS blanks.

I emailed them just recently about a blank, they answered promptly.
Noticed they recently had made some of the blanks, and now they are sold out,, looking in the catalog, I don't see where they fit, maybe they were used in the Paco series lighter powered graphite rods. Sorry they are sold out Re: Blank needed

Mudhole has the IMP843 FWIW.
Really wish I understood their labeling better. I mean what is the difference between the TXC, TLP, TF, GTF, IMC, TFP, TC, XLS, TEX. Truth is I'd probably use a lot more of their offerings if they gave more info. Reckon I need to follow Spencer's advice and email and ask. Russ in Hollywood, FL. Re: Blank needed

You might want to take a look at steelhead blanks, in the length, etc, you want, as well. Re: Blank needed

Thanks for all the reply’s and time. Lamiglass stated in an email that blank is no longer in production. Still looking at other options. The search continues
