Any feedback on the CRB blanks? They are pretty cheap but figured they would be something good to practice on since I'm new to building. I would still like it to be fishable though. Looking at a 7' medium casting rod. Re: CRB blanks

They are nice blanks for the money. They aren't technique specific actions and powers, but they can make a nice general purpose rod. I built the little 5'6" ones as little panfish rods for my wife and kids. Re: CRB blanks

Thanks Joe. I'm probably going to give it away once it's done anyway. Figured it would be good practice before I get into higher end blanks. Re: CRB blanks

My personal rods are the IS701L and the IS701ML blanks. They are durable and make very good bread and butter rods. I have also sold a number of them with favorable reviews.
I highly recommend them. Re: CRB blanks

i really like their E-Glass rods for building what i call bush rods..only 4 to 41/2' rods to use bank fishing in tight spaces..they make great bow and arrow shooting rods and E-Glass really flexes..if you wack one on a tree, it doesn,t break the bank just the rod..lol.
