Do you have any plans to just sell the stripper guide alone and not in a set? Re: American Tackle MicroWave 50 Guide Set

Stripper and transition guides for all MicroWave systems are available direct from AT to replace ones that may have broken. _______________________________ God Bless, Don Morse 800-516-1750 ext. 1207 / don@americantackle.us Rod Building..... My surf rods are 11' -12.5'. Do you recommend adding extra runners? Would this set-up be recommended for casting lures maximum distance? What is the maximum spool diameter this set-up can work with? Will it match up with Shimano Aero Technium 14000 with a 72mm spool diameter? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/30/2020 09:43AM by Bob Ginther. Re: American Tackle MicroWave 50 Guide Set

Good afternoon Bob.... there are 2 different thoughts when it comes to guide numbers on surf rods... most distance casters and even the long carp rods use the least amount of guides possible. Most custom builders in the states want to add more and smaller guides... great for shorter fresh and salt rods but not much help on the longer rods. What comes with the set should be plenty but it never hurts to have a couple extra laying around. We have tested the MW50 with 8000 -14000 size reels and they work great. _______________________________ God Bless, Don Morse 800-516-1750 ext. 1207 / don@americantackle.us Rod Building.....
