1. Has anyone built/fished the 10’ Surf Machine? I just looked at the blank at Surfland, but it feels a little too stiff for pencil work — can anyone confirm/refute that?

2. I also looked at a 10’ S1 Stealth (1205). This looked excellent for pencil work. It is rated 1-4 oz...that upper number seems high for the way it felt. Is it still “sweet” at 2.5 oz?

Lastly, I looked at the 10.5’ Sling Shot. I like the way it felt, but considering the breakage issues not uncommon to that line, I don’t want to chance it.
