Is anyone aware of St. Croix possibly reconsidering their decision to discontinue blank sales? I really miss having access to their full line.

St. Croix has recently obtained full ownership of Rodgeeks, but the blank program remains the same for the time being.

Tom, that's interesting news. When did this happen. Will they stay Rod Geeks or put their name back on them?

Call Rod Geeks and ask them your questions. They supply an excellent product.

Good luck

I really wish RodGeeks offered St. Croix full line of blanks. I have 6 St. Croix rods that I would like to build into my own style but can’t get the blank. I also miss when St. Croix sold blanks you could look up the rod (what technique the blank was design for) off their catalog and cross reference it. Than buy the blank.

I emailed Don and he confirmed. Said everything most likely will stay the same except probably no new blank development.

I hope they don't take their blanks off the market.

They won't. Rodgeeks will continue to be in business and supply blanks to custom builders.

It would be nice if they just used St Croix decals on the rods. I spend way to much time explaining that they are one and the same rod.
And I must saythe folks at Rod Geeks are first class and it's a pleasure to do business with them. I've had a couple very special requests on the paint and they came through for me. Much appreciated.

Tom
