Winding Check Size

On the top of my fore grip it measures 0.664

The winding checks only come on 0.600 or 0.700

Will the 0.600 stretch enough to work? or will it be to tight?

Thanks

If it’s one one the rubber/vinyl winding checks, it will stretch quite a bit with no problem.

You'll need a #45 WC if your are using a rigid wc.

you can fine tune it to fit , file it out or fill in with thread , there was a report in ROD BUILDER on how to make your own a couple years back I think ,
PS I like the metal winding's the best , looks sharp I think

work it a bit with a rat tail file. Be sure to debur with emory cloth so as not to scratch the graphite.

A fine grit cone shaped grinding wheel in a dremel will work on the metal WC.
Gotta go slow as it will get hot....and fling itself into space.
If you can fine those grit embedded rubber cone wheels they work really well.
I wear an old welding glove to hold the check.
