Building Cat Rod, need thread size help
Posted by: David Hartman (---)

Hi Everyone,

I am building a Cat Rod. 7' Med Heavy. Rated at 15-35 lbs

My question is thread size.

Is size A ok? or should I move up in diameter size to C?

Your thoughts?

Thanks

Thread size will make no difference, all are strong enough.

Size D will cover quickly, work well for larger guides.
