i have finish that i bought at the expo in 2019 that i haven't open until now. The hardener looks like a dark copper color and the resin is solid like a frozen block of ice. I did put the resin in the microwave and nuked it a few seconds until it become in a liquid form. I did get 3cc from each and put in a mixing cup and mixed for about 2 minutes. The color was a light cooper color. I poured the finish on to some foil and applied to a small place on a rod blank. Just wondering if you think this finish will be okay to use. Re: Epoxy Finish

It will be fine to use.
Most epoxies darken over time on or off the rod. If you want to start out with light clear epoxy, use freshly manufactured epoxy. Take care Re: Epoxy Finish

I had a similar issue, the epoxy worked fine however I wish I didn’t use it on a White Blank. It was a Rod I built for myself so not a real big deal. I won’t use white again, and I try to keep my In used epoxy in the dark. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
