Decal Connection application

Just received my first custom decals from Decal Connection. They were great to work with. The instructions say to put a coat of epoxy or CP on the blank where the decal will go.
Has anyone noticed a difference? Is one easier to work with than the other for applying the decal over? Re: Decal Connection application

I find thread finish is best, especially if you apply the decal shortly after the epoxy cures. I use the fingerprint test on the remnants of the epoxy left in the mixing cup. Re: Decal Connection application

I put it right on the blank and put two coats of CP over it before applying epoxy. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
