Rainshadow 13 ft 3 piece blanks

Just putting this out there to the Steelhead community at large. Im curious if the current Centrepin/Float fishing angling community would be interested in seeing these blanks become available to rod builders and the general public again. Rainshadow stoped producing these 3 pc blanks back in 2013 and so are no longer available. These blanks have an ellustrious history and have been long regarded as one of the finest Centrepin and float blank platforms to build on over the years. I,d like to hear from rod builders and or anyone with a history of these blanks if you would be interested in seeing this model available again. The ease of carrying, storing and traveling with this folded lenth has long made it popular with Seelheaders over the years. Any thoughts, opinions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Taagishrods

I am not familiar with this blank, but I would be curious to know what "Centrepin/Float fishing" means and how such a rod would be intended to be used.

Jeffery,
Are you actively looking for some, or is this just a question?

I am merely asking the question to see if there is an interest or a demand for this particular blank design. I have built many 3 piece centre-pin rods in the past but Im now seeing a trend towards 2 piece and 4 piece rods. Obviously were talking the 13, 13-6, 14, 15 ft lenghts, and the 3 piece design has always made much more sence to me in respect to storing, traveling and humping through the bush to remote (secret) locals.
Any thoughts?

Jeffery,

I have always really liked the 3 piece designs. My first center pin rod was a 3 piece. 2 piece rods don't travel nearly as wells as the 3. I personal feel the 4 piece rods are a bit awkward. I would love to see a newer 3 piece rod with a faster taper.

Thank you Matt for your opinion on this topic. I could,nt agree more with you on all your points. The Rainshadow 13 ft is definatly a faster blank than the older noodly style rods. Big rivers with bigger faster flows require a little sturdier rod to turn and manage bigger fresher fish, especially in heavy spring flows. An added bonus is the Rainshadow Immortal blanks in Titainium Chrome tie up and make an absolutly stunning finished rod when tied with any number of colours and reel seat designs.
