Thread finish

Need advise.
I have been using Gene Bullard's Diamond Two (two part) thread finish and I have enough left for one or two more rods. I made some searches to get more and found a "D2" finish, is it the same as the original Bullard's? If not, is there a comparable brand.

THANKS

John

The original Bullard Diamond II became defunct in the late 1980's. Not even the resurrected version from about 2010 was the same. The company that made that product for Gene folded in the 1990's. The newer version is from a different albeit major epoxy formulator.

If your'e using D-2 your'e very likely using the same one being sold now. I use it and Threadmaster Lite. Will my next batch of Threadmaster be the same as sold in the past, (I hope so) or will the new owners try to "improve" it remains to be seen.
