Finally Finished - Wrapping Bench & Drying Cabinet

No more excuses.... finally finished my drying cabinet tonight - so no more excuses not to get busy wrapping some rods....

Bench features an ALPS wrapper mounted to an "X-Y" carriage to allow sliding it forward/back and then also left-right along the bench

Drying cabinet features four 30 rpm 12V DC motors - each with their own variable speed control & power control; LED lights inside the cabinet. & under the cabinet ( to get more light on the bench), a 10' x 6" reptile heat strip to heat the cabinet - controlled by a PID Digital controller with temperature probe inside the cabinet. All of the above is controlled by a digital timer, so when I forget to come back and shut down the dryer it won't run for days on end....

Thanks to Roger Wilson for his insight on the DC motors, and to Roger, Mark Talmo and others here and elsewhere in the rod building community for their inspiration on the bench & cabinet design.....

Well done! That's really awesome, I'll surely take some of your pics for guidance on building my drying cabinet. That's what makes this the best rodbuilding forum I've ever visited ever, the fact that people share they ideas and advice.
