Looking for guides without ceramic for a heavy inshore 7'6" baitcast rod targeting over size slot snook and redfish and the occasional grouper on Sasasota Bay, FL. Using 50lb braided line. Looking for light and strong guides that Can take a beatting. I am thinking Pac Bay minimas could be a good choice. I'd rather be catching! I agree, I have them on far heavier powered rods than you are building, I prefer the double swaged 4's over the 3's. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
