So this guy Herb Ladenheim was offering some dark cork rings a few weeks back, all you had to do was pay for shipping.

We get emailing and find out a few things about each others interest in the hobby.

He tells me he has some "special" thread. We talk further. He offers up some of this "thread" and sends it to me.

Its some of the NICEST thread I have ever seen!

Now I am in the middle of planning out something "epic" that will honor this thread I have been gifted!

This site is COATED with some of the nicest people you'll even meet!

Herb is a really good guy. He reached out and supported me during hurricane Sandy. I only know him from a couple of websites and from many years of posting, so it as a nice surprise when he reached out.

Tony says "This site is COATED with some of the nicest people you'll even meet!". Well I have to second that, over the last 2 years here I have been in contact with a number of you. I've not not seen a bad apple in the bunch!!! My only regret is, that I didn't take up this hobby in my younger days.
Bill Vivona I asume your from NJ, mind if I ask what part? I'm in Philadelphia PA, but get to north NJ often during flounder season.

Herb is one of the nicest gentleman out there - always helping others . And if you are looking for blanks he sells CTS blanks and is extremely knowledgeable about them. Herb would never steer anyone wrong.
