I always look to them 1st. 3000 mi. west of here takes 1/2 the shipping time (or less) as 1000 mi. south typically does. I need things from both directions. lol

I'm all in with Carol and her dad. They are great people. I placed a small order with her for some grips and a reel seat just last week. Had them here in a blink of an eye. As they always are. No disrespect to the other board sponsors, but they are the best place I have ever dealt with when it comes to .rod building supplies. Actually they're the best place I have ever purchased from, regardless of what it's for. Top notch all the way.

Oh and the Alps split grip super grade cork with high density cork composite grips are gorgeous. I picked up two FB2.625- 375 fighting butts from them on the order I mentioned. I am using one as it was intended, and turned the other one around and used it as the rear grip (minus the small tenon) for a split grip spinning rod I am going to build. Forecast skeleton reel seat with the cork insert ..... man is it going to make one sweet looking spinning rod!!!

Utmost is the short cut to Batson's at their finest! Carol is the type of person you would want at the heart of interaction with worker and customer in any family business!!!. She is hard working, dedicated class at it's peak and very representative of the Batson name and family. American rods at their finest!!! :-)
