Can't find any info on this blank. Anyone know if it shuts off like the cxj603 or is it parabolic?

I don't build the saltwater stuff as much as some, the DHX blanks are a 4 ply blank, all multi-modulus.graphite and a little faster then the Extremes which are 6 ply, 4 plies DHX with two plies of E glass overlaying tip to butt, they have more lifting power, they were designed for the Ozzy market originally, than made available here later. If I remember right the Platinums are 9 ply durability tanks.
I enjoy my fresh and saltwater DHX rods, I have the old fly rod blanks also from the original company. I used the Ozzy developed rods, but haven't came across a situation I thought they were necessary for so far. If I was a big grouper angler, I'd think about getting one for the extra pulling power, maybe big yellowtails also.
