NFC EFX grip winding checks?

NFC blanks showed up the other day and I bought two of their new EFX grips to go with them. I've got a huge gap (maybe 1/8") between the blank and the ID of the grips. The only winding checks I have are too small, and do not completely fill the gap. I can fill it with epoxy and it'll be functional, but it'll look like @#$%&. Has anyone built with the EFX grips yet? What'd you use for winding check?

Here is a variety of winding checks.

Perhaps something like this one:

Or something like this one:

Use a razor to slice off a section that will be the correct size for your situation.

Perhaps one of these would fill the void?

Or, one of these used intact or use a section of one of them:

If appropriate, one of these winding checks from Alps might be the ticket for you:

Perhaps one of these winding checks will work for you?

It would be pretty easy to turn some EVA foam for the purpose of the fill ends / winding checks.

Much appreciated, Lance and Roger! I'm going to snag a couple of size 17 vinyl winding checks and some EVA foam just in case.

When they are not using their own reelseats, etc., they seem to be drawn to Batson products.

I spoke with a fella at American Tackle the other day about the add that was in RodMaker magazines last issue. The advertisement showed winding check and a transition piece for the rear grip to reel seats for their G2 seats and carbon fiber grips. He said the add was pre-mature but they were suppose to ship those items to distributors this week. I have purchased some of the NFX carbon (soft touch) grips and I think these winding checks and transition piece will be just the ticket. If anyone has seen or can get these new items, I would like to hear from you.
