2 Piece 9'6 8wt I built on an old Netcraft blank. Didn't use top shelf components but it fishes nice. It's paired with a Lamson Guru II 3.5. I'm going to finish breaking it in and give it to my mom to learn on. Next on the work list is a H&H 4 piece XI 9' 10wt .paired with an Orvis Hydros SL V.

These photos would be better placed, and archived, if you put them on the photo page. Thanks.

I wasn't asking you to delete them, just suggesting that they will be archived and easier to find in the future if you register and place them on the photo page.

I blew out my shoulder fishing four days with a 9ft. 9in. Loomis 8 wt. Hasn't been the same since. Nothing longer than 9 ft. In the heavier sticks used now, and it made me make my first spey rod. Re: 2 Piece 9'6 8wt

S pencer, i,m in the same boat except i only make rods under 8 feet..they use 2 or 3 less ceramic guides and by using two hands to cast(still overhead) i can shoot bass bugs way more than i need to all day..i make a moose hair bugs (henshall pattern) with a six inch wingspan that i have to use a 720 grain spey shooting head to cast it, but the rod is only a 71/2 foot telescopic pitching rod..it throws this bug when wet up to fifty feet..with ceramic guides it shoots this heavy line and fly with ease but i must use both hands.. Ben,
Once spent a day casting a Teeny 750 sink tip to tarpon, next morning I couldn't believe I'd done that to myself on purpose. Wish I'd tried two fisting it. I use a Lamiglas Perigee 9 wt. for bass, throwing Dahlberg Divers, Hair Bug poppers, and Sliders mostly, love Slider fishing. Re: 2 Piece 9'6 8wt
