I received a broken fishing rod blank from Mudhole which was shipped by FedEx. I have had the shipping tubes bent before, but this was my first broken blank. The blank cost me $117.00 and FedEx has a $100 standard damage limitation of their uninsured shipments. So, on January 13th, I followed the web site instructions took a picture of the shipping label, with Tracking Number, the damaged shipping tube, the broken blank, along with my proof of purchase and mailed it of to their Damaged Claims Department. B y February 20th I had not heard a word from them. so I found a Phone Number and called. I was advised that they had finally reviewed my claim and I would be receiving, in 4 or 5 days, a check for $100.00. Yeah!
Fortunately, I was going to build this rod, not for a customer, but to take a big work / jig rod to my bass club meeting to sell. Don Campbell don@sensorfishingrods.com Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/22/2020 01:54PM by Donald R Campbell. Re: FedEx Finally Comes Through...

Good on fedex. Wonder if you contacted mudhole first. Usually the shipper files the claim. Typical online sellers make things right by sending a new item then they wait out the process of the claim. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
