I use the West System epoxy for all of my structural building needs - not only rod building. Thought you might be interested in this article from West re paper towels.

Just curious Herb what advantages do you find in the West system over Flex coat or Threadmaster ? Is it any better on UV resistance ?

When I worked with airplanes and with boats, West System resin products is the only one that I used. A very superior product for those uses.
