Call-out

Hello,

I've only made one post in the decade or so that I've been perusing this forum, but feel like it's time to do so again. I just simply want to say "Thank You" to the sponsors and the frequent professional contributors. I've ordered from or used the products of about half of the listed sponsors over about 30 years of infrequent builds. I've always been happy with the service and quality provided by these enterprises. The information from the frequent contributors has put me on gainful building paths, without fail.

Kendall,
It is refreshing to say the least that someone as you would acknowledge the benefits gained from this forum and commend so with a thank you! All too often, I have witnessed new members asking questions, and then receiving qualified, heartfelt replies only to POOF, there’re gone, to never hear from them again without a simple courteous thank you. I have been chastised for remarking against such but I do not care; it is simply wrong no matter what day and age it may be!!!!! Although you have been here longer than me, thank you for the thank you from me and even from the insensitive, ignorant parties.

What I find interesting is the DEPTH of the information on this site.

You could pose a question like, "I was thinking of using a black Sharpie cap to cover the end of my ferule while I applied some Trondak with a Sable hair brush at 70°" and SOMEONE will have some information that will assist you like "Never use a Black Sharpie cap, make sure its a Brown Sharpie, warm the Trondak to 68°, warms the room to 72° and make sure its a flat Sable brush for best results" !

I found this site, when ALL I was trying to do was put an eye back on one of my favorite rods. One thing turned to another and here I am with an entire room in my house dedicated to wrapping rods, and its a blast!
