VSS Reel Seat Grip Options

Just curious are there any other options for premade grips for the VSS spinning reel seat other than what Fuji provides as the standard cork or EVA option. Was not sure if there were other cork options. Has anyone made their own if there are none available? Just curious.

Jay, Anglers Resource has a proprietary VSS WINN grip for size 1615 and 17 VSS seats. Part number is WVSS1615 or WVSS17. Your post made me realize we did not have it showing on our web site. I does now. [anglersresource.net]

Like the winn just concerned about longevity. Would hate to have to replace a grip in a few years. Cork for me is just more reliable

I made the last one I did out of eastern Red cedar. I used a dremel and a sanding drum to fine tune it. It turned out OK.

I have found styles of premade grips not available from regular vendors on a popular bidding site. Also, I have found options for VSS and IPS that are available direct from manufacturers in Asia. I know there are a variety of opinions about buying through these sources. Choices are more numerous for IPS and size 16 VSS, but I have found both EVA and cork choices for size 17 VSS as well. I would love to buy these items through the vendors I regularly use, but they just are not available.
