Which epoxy finish would anyone recommend rod dancer u 40 flexcoat etc and why
I'm building a twin tip barbel rod on a harrisons blank (1.5lb/2.0lb)

They are all equally good. The idea that any one particular finish is better than another is bunk. But they each have their own unique characteristics. Find the one that suits you best and stick with it. This requires some experimentation on your part.

There are no bad epoxies. Only bad epoxiers....

Its all about preference and application. I have tried several and they all equally work well. Its all about the 'epoxier' as Tom put it. If you like a single coat epoxy, use that. If you like a light build epoxy, medium..blah blah..you get the idea.

I use Flex coat and heat it in the microwave before I apply it. About 30 seconds is all it takes to make the Flexcoat flow smoothly. However, you must work quickly as heating any epoxy makes it work faster. Bill
