I’m looking to try my hand at making some custom rods for striper fishing and looking for a blank recommendation. I found a few here from years back but can’t seem to find a source for those blanks now

As a reference, I currently use Ugly Stik Striper 7’ MH rods - so anything will be a step up :)

Looking for for a 7’ or maybe 7’-6” blank for live bait “trolling” (0.5-2 mph), with 15-25 lb line - targeting striped bass that are typically 12-25 lbs, upwards perhaps of 30 lbs. Fiberglass, or maybe a blend - ideally with a soft, fast tip.

Rod would be paired with Shimano Tekota 500 series reels

Typically fish a minimum of 8 rods, so looking for something that would not be $100 a blank so as to not break the bank.
