Looking for aluminum winding checks. Cannot find the color I am looking for. Looking for something to compliment Pacbay Tibronze finish. Or something in a orange color more copper than neon orange. Found some rodcraft brand on @#$%&. They have a black dimpled with copper in the dimples. They would work. But unsure about the brand and having to wait for something from South Korea . Any suggestions for what I am looking for or a domestic source for Rodcraft products. Thanks. Re: Aluminum Winding Check Source

Michael,
You might take a look at the offerings from Alps. They have some nice checks. But I don't know about the colors. Take care [alpsforecast.com] Re: Aluminum Winding Check Source

You can also paint them. I have done it to match a color and I will coat them with wrapping epoxy when I am doing the trim bands next to them. They have a lot of colors, even metallic ones. Auto parts and hobby stores will usually have the color you are wanting. Auto paints are pretty tough and don't even need to be coated with epoxy. Re: Aluminum Winding Check Source
