I've been kind of hung up on a particular blank manufacture but after crummy customer service I want to branch out and try something new to me. My customers fish mostly bass and was wondering if anyone has experienced Hydra blanks. I have used MHX, Rainshadow and lamiglas and I've been satisfied but always looking at others.
Thanks as always Mark Re: Hydra blanks?

I've used a few, nice sticks, if you've had an ALX rod in your hand, you've experienced a Hydra blank. Re: Hydra blanks?

Considering trying out the Hydra blanks myself. Looking to build a Neko Rig rod for a friend, and was considering Hydra for this build. Heard their blanks are a tad slower, but are a solid blank overall. Any feedback on the blanks and models you guys seem to like??? Re: Hydra blanks?

I've only built on one Hydra blank. A SJ 2 from their NG series. It's a nice blank, I'd say more middle of the road compared to other blanks I've built on. I am selling the rod I built on it to a buddy of mine. He likes it, and says it's about the same as his G Loomis E6X as far as sensitivity goes.
I will say that Hyrda's customer service is outstanding. If you have a problem with one of their blanks, they'll take care of it fast and with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Re: Hydra blanks?

I have had a good experience from Hydra, bought an fl4 and fl5 blank. Alex has great customer service and fast shipping, and the blanks feel great so far. Haven’t fished it yet but I feel like the fl4 medium heavy+ blank will be very versatile and sensitive. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
