I see that Scott advertises the use of the CERecoil guides for stripping guides on their new saltwater rods, I have an 8wt blank ready to build and wanted to know if anyone has tried the CERecoil guides on their fly rod builds? I usually use a 16mm and 12mm for the stripping guides and Rec snake guides for the rest of the way. Sees like a nice fit to keep all the guides nickel titanium and flexible. Scott and OPST are @#$%& up all the Cerecoil guides for their equipment. I have been waiting for months for REC to increase production . One of my customers was lucky enough to score a few from MudHole for his #7 and #8 CTS Affinity-X's before they ran out. he likes them very much. I have not, to date, even held one in my hand. I have a standing order with REC for 6 of each -#20, #16, #12. Can't wait to try one. Herb CTS Re: CERecoil guides for Fly rod stripping guides

Herb, I managed to get one 12mm and it feels nice and is very light but the 16mm was backordered. I don't know how long it's going to take. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
