Can't wait to build the 1007. I'm expecting a pure gun for distance. _______________________________________________ If I'm not going to catch anything, then I'd rather not catch anything on flies. Prostaff Rodhouse [www.rodhouse.fr] Re: NEW Fly Blanks/Models from NFC - THE LMX!

Aleks, the new fly rod blanks sounds awesome and very reasonably priced.
Any chance there will be a line of all S2 Zentron unsanded fly rod blanks? Something like 7’3 to 8’3” 3 to 7 weight in 3 or 4 pieces. Right now there is a big gap between cheap imports and high $ high quality USA made blanks. Maybe your KDR 750 mandrel can be used to make a good fiberglass fly rod blank that a rodbuilder can cut and ferrule themselves or just keep it one piece. Well, you've got a perfect micro spey with the ST1302-HM.
I'm building one right now, and I can tell you it's gonna give a wicked rod. 13' of pure Loomis magic. _______________________________________________ If I'm not going to catch anything, then I'd rather not catch anything on flies. David - thank you for your kind words! We are working on a glass fly blank lineup, and are planning on launching it in the next couple of months. Re: NEW Fly Blanks/Models from NFC - THE LMX!

Aleks, S2 zentron for this lineup?
Anyway, in any case, s-glass or even e-glass, i’m sure i wouldn’t resist long to order them from Goulven at Rodhouse, to test them, once the lineup will be made available ;-) Re: NEW Fly Blanks/Models from NFC - THE LMX!

That is awesome to hear Aleks. I like to fly fish from a kayak where most of the cast are accurate short range so I think that shorter fiberglass rods are more ideal than carbon fiber. Then the flexibility to handle being high sticked which is almost impossible to not do in certain situations fighting a fish from a kayak. I have been searching for my ultimate kayak 6wt 7’6” to 7’10” but I understand that a small niche length line weight combination especially in modern fly rods. Also like to wade fish small creeks where a fiberglass fly rod I feel is the best tool. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/25/2019 06:03PM by David Miller.
