11'6" centerpin rod guide spacing chart?

I'm building a CP rod on a Lamiglas blank (GP1382ML - G1000 Pro) and haven't been able to get a spacing chart out of Lamiglas for it. I found a Rainshadow guide chart for a same sized blank that uses 11 guides. I had a low end 11'6" rod that broke in half that had 12 guides and I measured the spacing of that also, which turned out to be quite different from the RS spcing. The new rod will have a sliding ring reel seat and I plan to put the reel in the middle, so the front of the reel will be approx. 12 inches from the butt end.
At this point I'm thinking to put the first guide at 38" from the butt end, 26" from the front of the reel, and space out another 10 guides from there using a constant percentage decrement to the spacing (using excel). First guide will be a 16 or 20, not sure what I have, I salvaged them from the crappy rod. Then do a static load check make some adjustments and start wrapping. Thoughts, suggestions, warnings, encouragement? What could go wrong? Re: 11'6" centerpin rod guide spacing chart?

Check the Batson website for the IMMCP116M. They should have a recipe for it. Re: 11'6" centerpin rod guide spacing chart?

Sorry, read your post to quickly. I've found the Batson recipies to be pretty darn close, but on my centerpins, I'll add a smaller runner at the top end. 11 or 12 is going to work. The 20 is what I start with. Your sliding rings wll impact the guide placement, but with the CP, an inch or two should'nt matter. The key is bend it under load. Try 11 and 12, use what looks best.
