Building a old stock 2pc Ugly Stik 15/40 lb class. It is gone to be a Spinning Rod. Thinking of using Alps XPBVDTLG was wondering if this is a good choice. Thanks for your feedback Re: Alps guides

Not sure what the 'T' stands for but those guides should work ok. Might be a bit light for 40, but great for 30 down. SS316 stainless, black frame, recessed alum. oxide ring. The T might be titanium....you really need that? Re: Alps guides

Dennis,
Are you sure that you have all of the letters correct in your guide naming: [www.alpstackle.com] I do not see such a guide in the Alps guide listing. Take care Re: Alps guides

Dennis, yes the VD XPBVDLG (the T is a mistype) guides would be fine for a 40lb class rod.
Roger when talking about ALPS in North America refer to our Batson catalog and our www.alpsforcast.com website on part numbers – we don’t always use the same part numbers as the ALPS factory does.
