24 Volt DC Motor upgrade and a Big Thanks to Roger Wilson

I just upgraded my power wrapper with a 24 volt DC motor, control panel and a Linemaster OHASAB-10K Varior Foot switch. Man what a difference more control with reverse. There was no way I could have done this without Roger Wilson's help. All of the articles that he has written on this subject along with personal e mails that we sent back and forth. He is such a great asset to this forum. I used the Taig belt and pulley system that came with my unit. With a 1000 rpm motor I can set the pulleys so I have slow speed Control that will max out at 333 rpms at the slowest speed up to 3000 rpms highest setting. And the nice thing about it is the motors are cheap around $15.00. So if I decide to go with a different rpm motor it only takes a couple of minutes to change out. I tried to upload pictures in the equipment section but I haven't seen them go through yet. I also tried to send a video to Roger but I couldn't do that either. I am not very good with computers.

There is absolutely no doubt that Roger is a tremendous asset to this forum. He has helped a multitude of people to design and build very functional and customized power wrappers.

Ron,
If you have G mail, or an Amazon account you can use a cloud drive to upload your video. Then, forward a link to the vido that is being stored in the cloud and the recipient will be able to view the video without using up storage space in an e-mail account.

Take care
