I know most people use denatured alcohol in an alcohol burner.
I saw some people were using Heet gas additive instead. I was wondering if anyone used heet and if so how did it work? It's fairly inexpensive and comes in an ez pour bottle. Pat Retlich Re: Alcohol burner fuel

The major component of the regular Heet is methanol, and foruso-Heet it’s isopropyl alcohol. Don’t know the percentage of alcohol present, nor what other compounds they contain.. DNA is not that expensive in comparison, so that’s what I would use.

Heet, appears to be 98% isopropyl alcohol. [www.menards.com] [www.fleetfarm.com] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
