Hello everyone,
Quick question? If I were to use light build flexcoat epoxy for my first application would I be able to use high build flexcoat on my second without any problems? Thanks in advance! Jim Re: flexcoat question

No problem at all! Many of us do exactly that. Re: flexcoat question

Do you typically use light build on first coat then highbuild for second or the other way around I’ve been thinking about trying this but wondering which order would be better. My thoughts were high then light to just fix any imperfections of the first coat but I would be interested to hear from the people that either do it this way or have at least experimented with it. I would think that the lite would be logical for the first coat to achieve quick and easy thread saturation and then follow that with the high build. For those that are into the TABOO of thinning the finish on the first coat might be interested in this technique. That is if you want to cross the streams, so to speak. All my rods use a thinned first coat of Flex Coat High build with DNA per Flex Coat instructions. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
