Good afternoon Eddie..

My go to grouper spinning rods are built on an ATX- AXVJ7050 or 7060 ... it is marked vertical jigging but a great multi-purpose blank.

Batson's Rainshadow RCKJB 700- 250, 700-325. Deep drop, vertical jiggers. Skinny little things and brutely powerful.

For keeper grouper?
If so, like Grant mentioned the RCKJB700-250 keeps it fun and the 700-325 is a bit stiffer - this is what we setup our charter guys with. Check out the specs here: [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com]

Now if you're going for giant grouper it's a whole other beast of a blank.
