I have been attempting to get the blank weights for your 3 surf rod models and only one shows the overall blank weight the other two do not list the blank weights , i don't know if it was overlooked because i see blank weights are listed for all the other blanks NFC offers .

Hopefully that can be corrected .

Yes, I would like to know the blank weight of the SUR 1167-2 (psi-lmx) Also, is this a 50/50 split or something else. And does anyone have any info on what is the sweet spot for casting with this blank? Thanks.l

The 1-3 ounce NFC surf blank is 9.8 ounces which is considerably heavier than what i am used to fishing with . Some of my surf blanks with considerably heavier ratings specifically my 2- 6 oz rated surf blanks are a hair over 6 ounces in blank weight which is much lighter . I would bet the model you're looking at with the 2- 8 ounce rating will be in the weight range of at least 12 ounces if not more.

I can find ZERO info on any of these models anywhere on the web but taking a wild guess on the sweet spot of the 2- 8 oz rated blank i would estimate it to be in the 3 1'2 - 5 1/2 oz range .

Looks like the 1167-2 is 10.76 oz 60/40 split from what I saw on a different forum. But I don't know how old that info is.

Hard to believe , 1167 -2 is rated 2-8 oz the 1165-2 piece 1- 3 oz both blanks being the same length is listed as weighing a total of 9.8 oz . Can't see the 2- 8 oz rated blank weighing in at 10.76 oz . Defies basic common sense and logic , it's got to weigh more than that .

The OD 1.06 towards the reelseat (made to fit a size 16/17 reelseat from ANY manufacturer)

Aleks initially on Facebook it was said they would come with arbor and cap what happened there. Could you tell me what kind of butt cap is in the pictures on your website I think it looks good with the grips and would still lik to use it.
