I have a dark green ultra light rod I'm going to be building and I'm stuck on what colors to use the only colors I can think of would be gold band, green and a black inlay going to solid black as a guide wrap.
I would also like to do a chevron wrap but I would like to use more then the above colors or a completly different color idea. Please give me your input on what you would use.

Add different shades of Blue and a Purple for the Chevron. Or go earth colors, and mix up Tans and Browns.

lime and regular green metallic + gold and maybe silver in the chevron, plus dark green for the wrap

I have used a combination of a baby/light blue with a center band of dark brown and edged on either side of the blue with the same dark brown. So, it would go like this, thin dark brown, wider light blue, thin dark brown, wider light blue, and thin dark brown.
