Has anybody ever used the Gudebrod sewing thried for your wraps in place of the Gudebrod rod wrapping thried and do the colors match the same.

Some sewing threads have silicone as a lubricant in them I think. Come epoxy time would be heartache all round I would think. Fwiw.

Glenn,
It may or it may not. It may match or it may not.

But the simple matter of the fact is that Gudebrod no longer is in business manufacturing rod building thread.

So, in a word, there are many current suppliers of thread on the market who make perfect thread that work very well for wrapping rods with zero side effects.

Find a manufacturer or two that you like to work with and enjoy their products.
