RX6 SB720 and SB780 - anyone fished them?

Has anyone fished either or both of these blanks. They are pretty unique with soft tips and a lot of backbone. Main question is what did you use them for, and how did you find the sensitivity to be?

Marc,
Any time that you fish with a rod with an extra soft tip, you stop being a "feel" fisherman and instead become a " see" fisherman.

i.e. with a softer tip, one keeps an eye on the tip of the rod, and the eye will be able to observe the tip movement being caused by the bite of a fish, much before one would feel the same bite on a rod like this.

I actually prefer the softer tipped rod style, as opposed to the converse. I simply put more fish in the livewell using a softer tipped rod.

Take care

Thanks Roger. I do use a lot of hi-viz mono for line watching, so I hear you on the visual strike detection. I have noticed the same thing, when the tips get really soft feel does drop off. I may have to fish one to check them out more.

I like those blanks, being that short and that light, they can't help be sensitive.
