Slick Butt

Looking to build a standup rod with a slick butt and want it to be as light as possible, but don't see any weights listed on the slick butt's. Anyone have any idea where to get this info or which ones may be the lightest?

I expect that the weight of the butts are all quite similar.
If you are ordering the butt, call the vendor and ask them to weigh any potential candidates for you. Normally, they will take care of this for you.

The important thing here is not use any more arbors/bushings to mount them than you actually need. These things are typically pretty stout nylon and only require maybe a couple of 1 to 1-1/2 inch long bushings set in about an inch or two from each end. Do not pack the interior space with epoxy. Apply epoxy to the mating surfaces, only.

Thanks all. Was probably looking in the 12" range and will lean toward the slim since it would make sense it would be lighter. I can see where minimal epoxy and arbors will definately make a difference.
